I have been very caught up with my work and quite dependent with my partner about some important dates. Well, it was just yesterday when I went to the mall and found some Thanksgiving gift baskets which made me realize that thanksgiving is just around the corner. Now, I am thinking of the possible preparation that I need to do. For sure my parents would visit me, but I will prefer if they would invite me to come over that way I am safe from preparation stress.

I have to come up with a unique thanksgiving gift for my mom and dad that they never received before. Last year, I was not able to give them something because I am in the process of starting a new life away from them. Well, my finances at that time were quite tight. But, now the sailing is smooth I think I will be able to give mom a really good plate set or a tea set. Would you think she likes it? I’m not so sure about it. Well, I can also give her some gift baskets with lots of goodies inside or a bouquet of flowers perhaps. For my dad, I know a nice bottle of wine will do.
