Since its Christmas, it’s the time of endless shopping. We shop for our presents like your kid’s request NFL merchandise, new make-up kit for your wife, new clothes perhaps for you. But, you can minimize your expenditure if you pay in cash because you spend only what you have on hand, logically, you can’t overspend. And, you don’t use your credit cards which can add from 2.5 percent to 3.5 percent interest per month.
Of course using cash is not a complete guarantee that you will cut down on spending. As far as buying is concerned, be a planned spender. Canvass for prices and suppliers before making a purchase. Don’t be an impulsive buyer this time since you have a list of gifts to complete. Compare prices of the item in two stores. Store A might be more expensive than the store B. Scout for the best deals like deals, so you will get better value for your money. Take advantage of the sales and discounts, as this time of the year several stores will offer these promotions. Much better if you buy in bulk of the same item, where each piece will cost much less. Don’t forget to shop early for you to avoid the Christmas rush and the crowd.
