Are you experiencing some tingling feeling like “pins and needles” on your feet and legs?
Basically, your “pins and needles” sensation is called paresthesia and can have a wide range of causes depending on your nutritional status, medical history, and how long you’ve had it. Less serious causes included reduced blood supply to nerves due to staying in a certain positions for a long time, e.g. kneeling. Long standing problems include central nervous system disorders, rheumatoid diseases, nerve entrapment, and metabolic problems like diabetes, infections, and vitamin B12 deficiency. Except for vitamin B12 deficiency, the problem cannot be treated simply by increasing vitamin intake. It is best to see your doctor for a full workup and the appropriate therapy.
