I never thought that past experiences could be an amusing thing of the present. I am reminded about how wiffy reacted when she was caught by the fire bureau department for not following the law. Before that time, I already told her that she needs to install emergency lights for her store. She said she will, but since she is so busy ensuring that store operation operates smoothly. She always forgets it or she did forget about it purposely. Whatever her reasons might be, she paid a great price for it.
The fire bureau inspectors gave her a visit and found a number of flaws. I thought that she just missed having the right emergency lighting in her stores. But, there is more to that. She is missing an exit sign and the fire extinguisher is already two months expired.
The officers issued an order to install all those that are missing in five days time. Aside from that she needs to pay a huge amount of penalties for missing the three essential emergency tools. Its negligence on her part by the way. She should have looked everything inside the establishment and not just focused on one thing.
After that incident she searched and shopped for emergency lights, exit signs and fire extinguishers. The whole thing took a huge amount of her time. But, I do understand that she needs to do her job as she is faced for shop closure. If that happens, then she will definitely lose her job.
Well, that happened years ago. Whenever I tease her for being so stubborn, she always brings back her emergency light ordeal. Although it’s not a funny thing, but we always laugh while talking about it. After that, she faced a lot of penalties from different government agencies. It’s not all her faults. Some of it is the company’s mistakes. But since she is in-charge, she is responsible to face and answer all the queries and allegations. All I can say is that it is definitely a difficult job.
