I guess will be seeing lots of compromising situations from Robert Pattinson, after the “Bel Ami” comes out in 2011. Unlike in the past, the star is not denying anything in his MTV interview – that is to say, there was plenty of truth to rumors about how the film will be laden with love scenes. “There’s a lot” of that in the film, the shy actor says for the aforementioned media outlet, though he won’t go into further details. As MTV also points out, this comes on the heels of a certain scene from “Remember Me,” Robert’s latest film, surfacing online, which qualifies for the first time any “Twilight” fan has seen the star give more than just a chaste kiss to his co-star.

“‘It’s a totally amoral character,’ Pattinson said of the role in an interview with Variety, adding that he’s playing a different kind of character than his fans are used to seeing. In ‘Bel Ami,’ Pattinson plays journalist George Duroy in an adaptation of the 1885 Guy de Maupassant short story. Duroy climbs the ranks of Parisian society by seducing influential women, particularly Uma Thurman’s Madeleine Forestier and Christina Ricci’s Clotilde de Marelle,” MTV writes.

“[The film] is like the complete antithesis of what you normally think period dramas are about,” the actor himself explains. “In Paris, everybody was just going nuts. It was like the 1980s,” he explains, adding that making love was “a kind of a weapon and a tool, and it’s odd.” He then goes on to say that these two films, “Remember Me” and “Bel Ami,” will include very different love scenes, with one being “tender” and the other with “something very mercenary about it.”I guess will be seeing lots of compromising situations from Robert Pattinson, after the “Bel Ami” comes out in 2011.
