Watching the news yesterday somewhat saddens me. It says, one of the landfills collapsed yesterday. I just did not hear the details whether there are people injured or dead with the incident. But, the tragedy is making me think of my own garbage because I contribute to the millions of tons of collected garbage every day. It’s true, the local government or the government can do little about it. It’s the people who should be doing the biggest part.

I’m already adhering to some waste management technique like segregation. But, I still throw most of the trash. Wifey said we should start composting that way at least we can lessen our garbage. Plus, the garden can benefit a lot from it too. But, in that case we will need a compost tumbler, which I’m not sure where to buy it until now. I find this amazing tumbler in Clean Air Gardening. This will surely help us in our composting. As far as the benefit goes, well, it is somewhat many from social, to agricultural, to economic and most of all environmental. At least, I can make a little difference for the environment in my own way.
